I am now almost 5 months pregnant and was waking up every morning with back pain and hip pain from not sleeping comfortably. I tried a regular pillow between my legs, but found it was not enough support. I then saw this pillow in Babies R Us and bought it. I LOVE it! I love how it’s all in one, a pillow to support my belly and for in between my legs to keep my hips aligned. I like the softness of the pillow and it’s not too big and offensive that it kicks my husband out of bed. It’s easy to roll with me from side to side in the middle of the night and now I also use it to sit up in bed at night when I read.
I think this is a great product especially considering it is cheaper then some of the other products on the market and it provides support right where I need it so I don’t need 5 different pillows or wedges to support me and my growing belly. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

I got this when I was about 6.5 months pregnant after my husband said the my back was sore in the morning was that my belly was pulling it out of alignment. At first I was a bit confused as to how this pillow would help, but I managed to stuff a bit of it under my belly and it seemed to do the trick.
However, there is a lot of excess pillow not being used for support, and it takes up bed space. I’m now eight months pregnant and find that I don’t need it as much as my belly is big enough to touch the bed itself when I’m lying on my side and therefore not pulling on my back. I find the stuffing to be quite loose (as in the pillow case should be sewn smaller) and it does shift and pack down – especially on the leg portion. (I am 5’2″ and about 150 at this point, so I imagine it would be worse for a larger person.)
If I was doing it over again, I think I’d try the wedge instead.

Before I bought this pillow I read the reviews and thought it would be a decent purchase. I first got it when I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant because my belly was already large and I needed more support under the belly and between the leggs. Now I am 34 weeks pregnant and already unhappy with it. I have never washed the pillow because I didn’t want it to seperate like other users have experienced. Instead I invested in the additional slip covers and washed those. However the pillow has still come compleatly seperated under the leggs. Also now that my belly is even bigger I am finding that the stuffing has moved to the top and won’t fit under me. My husband does not like the pillow (although he won’t tell me so) because it is hard for him to cuddle me and it stills all his covers. In addition the pillow limits the amount of movement because it catches on the sheets and pulls everything with it, and I find that when I sleep without it my body tempurature is about 10 deg cooler and that is more comfort than the pillow.
For better hip support try the wedge. It is less expensive and doesn’t seperate, but still gets the job done. For more belly support try an old fashoned feather pillow. They mold and expand as a pregnant belly does.

I bought this pillow early on in my pregnancy. Although it continues to help me (I am 26 weeks now), and I still sleep with it, the stuffing has started to separate, especially in the part that goes between the legs. Also, the pillow is not long enough, I have to use an additional pillow to put my arms around and cuddle with.

I tried this pillow and couldn’t get it situated to where I was any more comfortable. Pass this up and go for a Snoogle. It’s a little more money, but worth it for the better night’s sleep.
