crackers always helped me. but my favorite thing was a cold wet rag and a warm bath. Maybe that would help you as well!
Flat lemonade & Oat biscuits :]
the docs can give you a med for that. I have had five pregnacies. Never let your stomach get empty. If you are not eating alot due to the nausea it can make it worse. Try crackers or cheese or both as small snacks to keep your stomach acids from churning. Also Apples are wonderful they are natural digestive aid and help with naseaa and clean your teeth too:)
Here is a good article to help..hope you feel better!http://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=51913
Ginger, Gingernut biscuits, Ginger tea, Ginger in cooking, Candied ginger. Anything ginger. A couple years back my local maternity unit did studies on ginger and morning sickness it helped 80 percent of those who tried it i was one of them, it helped me heaps.
Sea bands I currently use them
Tomato soup
Pepsi but be careful as it has caffine
I had 5 days of medication from my GP they worked but I felt guilty takign pills as its not really a good idea. Only took 2 n 1/2 days of them and stopped.
To be honest I think it was the GP medication that stopped the nausea being as bad even after taking them, they do work. I will use sea bands for as long as I feel I need to but again to be honest I feel that sea bands are All in the mind thats they work. They cost £5-8 depending on where you go Boots is £8 and Chemist is £5.
Hope I could be of any help as I know how it feels.
Congrats and Good Luck Hope the birth goes easy as can be for you and enjoy your pregnancy.
I had really bad sickness during pregnancy and ended up having to take anti-sickness tablets, so be prepared to ask your doctor for them if you can’t keep any food/drink down. However; things that did really help me was making sure I never actually got hungry. Keep snacking and don’t let your blood sugar level get low – lucozade helps. And if you can hardly find anything to eat that doesn’t make you puke, don’t worry so much about what you’re eating, just eat what you can.
sea-bands, candied ginger, lemon drops (sounds odd, but they helped me), ginger ale, plain saltines, almonds- I got the Cinnamon roasted ones, tasty
The sea-bands really didn’t help that much for me, but I prolly put them in the wrong spot. Tums are always helpful to have in your purse too
I take morning sickness tablets from Blackmores and they have ginger and vitamin B6 in it, it helps a bit but also make sure that you never get hungry so that means that you have to eat more smaller meals, and at the same time don’t get too full or eat fatty foods. Drink plenty of water also and try to take your vitamins at night before you go to bed, works a treat! You’ll also have to make sure that you don’t get too tired and maybe try to nap during the day if you can. I’m nearly 9 weeks now and all these things have helped so much for me..hopefully you’ll feel alot better too
ginger helps a ton. (although ice cream made me feel a ton better. lol!)
