My period is late. I am spotting and cramping like I would be if it were coming…which I’m sure it is. I have been trying for 18 months and was trying to hold onto some hope. Did any of you ladies have spotting and cramping during the early stages of pregnancy? If I am pregnant I would be 4 weeks today.
Before anyone says take a test, I plan to on Wed ot Thurs. if my period dosn’t show. I like to wait till I’m a few days late. = )

Thats actually very normal for early pregnancy. It sucks because those are also signs of a period coming. Its hard to tell. Spotting happens a couple days before your period and it feels just like youre going to start.

Yes, I got spotting and I was cleaning like crazy. By the time I realized I was pregnant I was 8 weeks pregnant.
spotting generally occurs two weeks after conception, its light and off and on for two -three days.
but everyone is different.

you might be miscarring or you arent prego you just thought you were cause you’re late.
Cramps are normal during early pregnancy, it feels like your period is coming at any minute. The bleeding could be implantation bleeding.
i did have cramping but i didnt have spotting but the spotting could be implantation bleeding which is very normal in early pregnancy. so u never know u could be pregnant. good luck
I had cramping and spotting in the 1st trimester of both of my pregnancies, and they turn out to be healthy boys, each weighing well over average!!

I cramped a lot with my first pregnancy but no spotting. 41 weeks later i had a beautiful little girl. Now i am pregnant again. I felt like I was going to start my period for a weak…I had cramping and sore breast. Then one night I went to the RR peed, and wiped, the TP had clear mucus and brown stuff…TMI sorry. But that’s how I knew I was pregnant! Next day I bought a pregnancy test and sure enough it came back positive! Im 9 weeks pregnant!

It is very possible as this happend to me. I am now 8 weeks and I still have some cramping. Nothing bad and spotting yes, brown discharge and I bleed when I have intercourse with my hubby. My midwife said this is all very natural and normal, not to worry. Just like you I couldn’t believe it since I started using the ovulation kit for about two weeks than between one thing and the other just forgot about using is it and well it happend I am pregnant and I couldnt believe it.Good Luck and I hope you are really prego! My cousin had some spotting she wrote off has her period as she wasn’t ttc. She thought she may be pregnant because she was tired and still kept feeling like her period was coming (cramping, bloating, sore breasts) but she only had some spotting so she took a test a week after the spotting and got a BFP. So it does happen! Hang in there!!!!
I did I bled for like 3 hours & I though it was my period starting late but actually it was implantation bleeding I also had cramps and felted very tired,I took .and HPT 3 or 4 weeks from that day and tested positive but it was a light positive,made an appt and I was sure pregnant and now I am 39 weeks pregnant with my 4th child,but this was my very first time ever bleeding I never bled for my other 3 kids,Good luck baby dust to u god bless
I don’t remember cramping but I did spot on and off (this was after I knew I was pregnant — 6 and 8 weeks, I believe). The spotting was due to an irritated cervix. The increased vascularization just made my cervix go crazy. I still spot if my cervix gets pestered (internal exams, pap smear done at 24 wks). Good luck and BABY DUST ~*~*~*~*~*~
