Question from borneonthefmwavesoftheheart
I had sex 2 days after my ovulation time is that still like too close to my ovulation? I know you have a bigger chance of getting pregnant during ovulation but, does it still apply two days later?

An egg is only viable for 12-24 hours after ovulation so you most likely missed it this month.
im not sure but i read that our eggs last for about 24 to 36 hours so depending on when you ovulated yes the chances arent that good if your tring they say do it before and a day after you ovulate. good luck with your out come
Possibly. If you’re trying not to get pregnant, there is NO really safe time. And unless you’re using an ovulation test kit or tracking your basal temp and cervical music you DON’T actually know when you ovulated. Your ovaries can’t read a calendar.
BTW, tracking your ovulation won’t necessarily help you if you don’t want to get pregnant, because sperm can live for several days inside you, and you can only predict a day or so in advance when you are going to be ovulating. So if you have sex what turns out to be just a few days before ovulation, you could still get pregnant.
If you don’t want a baby, use birth control.
It’s still possible. Follicles all differ in the length of their viability (12-24 hours…), however my sister KNOWS the day she ovulated AND the day she got pregnant and it was TWO days after she ovulated.
So, it CAN happen.
