Hi im 19 years old and just started taking birth control. Me and My boyfriend have been having sex for about a month unprotected. He would not ejaculate inside me, but pull out right before he did… I wasnt too concerned about pregnancy becuase i recieved my period on Sunday Nov 9th.. it last till about Thursday the 12th which is normal. On saturday i began taking birth control and ive been taking it for the last 5 days.. Just today Nov 19th it looks like i am starting to have another period.. I dont know why this is or what caused it, is it an effect from birth control? or a sign of pregnancy ? or something else?

I am also going away with him tonight until sunday, is it ok to have sex during this time?

Birth control can cause spotting until your body gets used to it. If you had a period you aren’t pregnant. People can spot when pregnant or have some bleeding but a period is the shedding of the uterine lining and anything that was on it. So if their was an embryo it could not have survived.
