Question from SoonToBeMrs.Martin
My cycle is 28 days. I started spotting on 8/31 and my actual period started 9/2 therefore this month im not sure if my period is going to come sunday 9/28 or tuesday 9/30. Can i take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning and get a accurate result? Has anyone gotten an accurate result a week before their scheduled period? Thanks for the answers in advance.

why don’t you just go to the doctor? i know it might be expensive but they are more accurate than some tests
no you need to wait
The most accurate results are on the day of your missed period, or later. Even if you took a test today, I would not take the results very seriously, as it will probably come out negative anyways. Save your money, and wait until you have actually missed your period. Good luck!
I hear the best time to take a pregnancy test is in the morning, after your period should have started.
I took a test a week before my period was suppose to begin. The Negative/Positive sign was faint but enough to tell me that I needed to take another test a few days later to confirm that I was indeed pregnant.
if your period is in 9/2 then you have to count 10 days before and 10 days after.like 9/2 is your period +10 is 9/12 and 9/20.so within september 12-20 is your fertilization.if within that day you met your partner then your pregnant.just wait for another 3 days after actual period.thats how the OB-gyn count.
You should wait. That way you don’t have to spend money on another pregnancy test if your period really is late! If it comes, then you know! I know it’s really hard to wait, but the results won’t be accurate so soon(well, unless it’s positive! A negative result cannot be trusted so early!)
It’s up to you!
Good luck!
you could take the test but i’m 5 weeks late with negative hpt’s so for some people they never work so they arn’t always accurate!
Yes you can take hpt tomorrow early morning but chances of negative results are more that even if you are pregnant but you can also test it again when you will miss periods……..
