I heard that you can’t get pregnant in a pool because once sperm hits the water itll die. Is this true? Believing this, I had sex in a pool today and now im worried that I could be pregnant, but I was ovulating. I was on day 23 of my cycle out of 28 days, so what are the chances i could be pregnant?

i have never heard this before, in my mind if you had unprotected sex wherever that may be there is a chance of pregnancy
If you’re having sex in the traditional manner, than the sperm is never touched by the pool water. If you’re doing something sexual that isn’t actual sex, you’re fine. If you had sex, than you have just as much chance of being pregnant as if you’d done it in a bed.

Very untrue, you can get pregnant in water, even in hot tubs! Trust me : ) This is how my little one got here! I do think it is less of a chance though, so try to relax until period time comes. Day 23 should be after ovulation, it is usually around day 14, but you never know with these things. If your period does not come on time, give it 2 or 3 days and then test. I hope everything works out for you and you get the answer you want!
Of course you can get pregnant in a pool, a lot gets into your uterus and never touches the chlorine anyway, so be careful next time!
That being said, it’s not too likely on day 23 of a 28 day cycle.

I can’t pick out your chances, but yes you can get pregnant while in a pool, and sperm doesn’t die in water, sperm can live upto 72 hours or until the ejaculate dries up (sperm with it). See if you miss your period and then take a pregnancy test.

If you have sex in a pool the chlorine will not kill the sperm, the sperm are not swimming into you from the pool water. They go directly from the penis into your vagina.

Anytime the penis penetrates the vagina, unprotected, there is a chance of becoming pregnant. It doesn’t matter where you do it, when you do it, the position you were in, if there was unprotected penetration there is a chance.
You can become pregnant anytime, even during your period. If you do not want to be pregnant, USE PROTECTION!
