yes, plenty of water also helps. if you can’t get relief from those, you can also try some stool softener or fiber supplements. just don’t take laxatives as they are not recommended for use during pregnancy.
yes. and yes. and fresh fruit is of cause great for your body and your baby too! drink water too.
A lot of pregnant women experience constipation during pregnancy because their intestines and bowel slow down due to progesterone and their body is trying to keep as much nutrients for the mum and baby. Fruits, veggie and lots of water. Also Metamucil can be a god send, you mix a couple of teaspoons in juice two to three times a day and it is a natural fibre supplement made from psyllium husks. I used it while pregnant and had not one day of belly discomfort or constipation, and at the hospital after delivering they gave it to all the mothers to help with a bowel movement and softness because we were all very sore down there, lol
They sure do…
Try this – Eat two Kiwi fruit with a cup of black tea twice a day.

Yes constipation is normal in pregnant women. Just take lots of water and juice to help you with that problem. Fruits rich in fiber will also help you to have regular bowel movements….if it persists, ask you ob-gyne she/he might prescribe you with something to solve your problem. BUT PLEASE DON’T SELF MEDICATE
