Question from Southern Bell

I’m pregnant with identical twins, I’m early on in the pregnancy, but I have Cystic Fibrosis so I’m worried that there may be complications and I won’t have healthy babies (they don’t have the disease though, they tested negative). But what are some good tips to have a healthy pregnancy and make sure the babies are born ok?

  • Make sure you eat VERY healthy and if you ever feel like something is wrong IMMEDIATLEY go to the Dr.

  • vLo:

You think people on Y!A have the answer? See a good doctor…maybe a high-risk OB dr. Otherwise, do what all pregnant women do and take care of yourself! Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck!

  • Congrats! Im so glad your babies dont have it. Thats great news! Just make sure you take your pre natal vitamins and follow up with your Dr regularly! Eat healthy too:)

  • And DO NOT search things on internet just to search for an answer. It’s an important thing… self-made medicine can’t work here.

  • What every pregnant woman should do and even more so:
Eat well, get exercise, get the right amount of rest, take naps. Don’t exhaust yourself

Get an OB with expertise in handling unusual pregnancies. Go to legitimate websites for advice. You can do your own research on the National Library of Medicine website.

Check with the Cycstic Fibrosis organization for pregnancy advice.

  • congrats! im soo glad they dont have it. u must be stoked!
well u shouldnt smoke or drink.
u will get cravings often so try to eat healthing foods like fruits and vegies.
if u feel like anything is wrong emediately go to doctor.

  • Take prenatel vitamins and vitamin C every morning, eat a cheesestick or drink a cup of milk every day and make a fruit shake. Make sure you go to an OB doctor every month to watch how you and your baby are growing. You will be fine, God is with you and your baby. :)
