normal stretching pain or if its pain from you surgery plus stretching pain? i have chronic back pain i was just wondering if ill be able to tell when i go into labor later on if i have back labor or not? plus with the stretching pain i had an eptopic surgically removed in May and now im having the normal pregnancy cramping and stretching pains plus its alittle more in the area where i had my surgery? its not bad its just something i was wondering about.

  • It can be hard to tell the difference. The achiness that late pregnancy can cause in your lower back is going to be very similar to chronic back pain. The kind of back pain you can get when labor is close or during labor, is a more deep kind of ache, more like your getting your period, but can be worse; it feels more internal, if that helps. For me, it was like a combination of feeling like I was getting the flu and having my period, but concentrated in the back (I’m talking the pre-labor and labor back discomfort here).
