Question from Ang

I just had my period return last month after breastfeeding my son for over a year. I have been tracking my ovulation with ovulation calendars and ovulation tests(however i am just guessing as to how long my cycle length is from my previous cycles 2 years ago). I was just wondering how long it took for you women who used ovulation calendars and ovulation predictors to get pregnant?

  • I did this on mymonthlycycles.com. Took me about 1 year after I started using it…TTC for 6 years total.

  • I used nothing and got pregnant 3 weeks after my IUD was removed. I was in shock, I was still doing research on TTC and what tools to use.

The first couple of months I used ovulation calendars, they were off by about 4 days and I missed ovulation. They’re not cut and dry unless you have an absolutely perfect cycle. Try opks, bbt charting, or just have sex every other day of your cycle. Good luck!
