Question from canadianpleasure88

My last period started December 13, 2008. My fiance and I have tried to conceive 6 times since then. I still haven’t gotten my period and it’s now February 3rd, 2009. I took a home pregnancy test but it came back negative. How often can they be wrong? I have a lot of the common symptoms such as fatigue, swollen breasts, hunger, nausea and the metallic taste in my mouth.

  • If you took the test after your period was due then it should be accurate, however sometimes it takes a bit longer for there to be enough HGC for a correct result.
Go to your Dr and request a blood test, tell them your period is late. That should give you a correct answer.

  • not often best thing to do though if your wondering is get a blood test from the doctors to confirm! or wait a couple more days and take another test. it took me 3 days after missed period to get a positive.
good luck and i give you all the baby dust i have!!!
