nope. its too early. its just something you ate or all in your head since you want to concieve
. Constipation during pregnancy is due to the fact that a mother’s body draws and retains more fluids for the growing baby, placenta and amniotic fluid, therefore making the stool dry. You can try to conquer colon dehydration by drinking more liquids, but then you run the risk of increasing the already way-too-frequent urination problem.
One trick that worked for my sister, who also has Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), is to drink two tablespoons of olive oil a day and then take a brisk walk.
I’ve also been told that one of the best ways to conquer constipation is to answer the call of nature right away. Don’t wait even for a minute or you may miss your window of opportunity. We ladies like to plan our poops, preferably at a time when we are alone in our own homes. Don’t you agree? Having to duck into the restroom at the supermarket and emerge several minutes later with a stink in tow can make you appear less than ladylike, but it works. I have to warn you, there are many more of these types of episodes ahead, so get used to it, dahlink!
I dont remember it being a sign…… I never had constipation during either of my pregnancies.
Constipation during pregnancy usually occurs later in pregnancy caused from a combination of the increased vitamins and iron in prenatal vitamins and the pressure the baby/uterus places on the intestines. Early signs of pregnancy which may occur around the time your period is due , but more likely a week or two later may include frequent urination (which will go away and return in the last trimester) , nausea , extreme exhaustion and tender breasts , you may also experience moodiness… not so much anger as crying easily.
Depends on the individual. Personally, I was constipated, gassy, nauseated and had very sore breasts 5 days after ovulation and I am pregnant. I spoke to the doctor who told me that in some women with very strong hormones you can experience these changes very early. Apparently the pregnancy hormones immediately start relaxing your muscles and slow down your digestive system to extract all the nutrients from your food.
So yes it could be that, but without other symptoms it’s not likely. Wait till your period’s due, them you’ll know one way or the other.
You *can’t* have any physical signs of pregnancy less than 8 days after ovulation (and usually even later than that). It takes at least about a week for the fertilized egg to reach the uterus and start implanting, then another day for it to start secreting HCG–the hormone that lets your entire body know you’re pregnant. So, no, it’s not related to pregnancy.
