Question from Kristy
I just read on the net somewhere that getting morning sickness early on or havin it very regular is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy with less of a chance of m/c, is there any truth to this statement or is it all hog wash?

well the way i see it is most women have morning sickness @ sometime and most babies are healthy so it must be a good sign. i hope i helped.
lol i had morning sickness with all three of mine for about five months and there all fine and funny thing rarely sick, so who to say but i think it be more down to how a women body reacts in pregnancy
hmmmmm well not exactly but you can still confirm with your doc.
Different bodies react differently during pregnancy. Some people may have morning sckness, some may not while they may have other symptoms. There is no sure shot proof that morning sickness would lead to healthy baby. A baby’s health would depend on the mother’s eating habits and other life style habits . So all the best.
Its just part of pregnancy, the ride in your hormones, the changes in your body, it can make you sick, well it can make a lot of women sick, I was lucky with both my boys and had no sickness at all… And they were healthy throughout the whole pregnancy.
Morning sickness doesnt mean anything to do with your baby’s health xx
Yes and No. If you don’t have morning sickness, it doesn’t mean that your pregnancy is unhealthy. If you do have morning sickness it means that there is Hcg in your system and that typically the level of the hormone is increasing.
It isn’t always right though. My sister miscarried and still had morning sickness the week she was waiting to go to the hospital for the baby’s removal.
It is a common myth that morning sickness means your pregnancy is going well and that you have less of a chance of miscarriage. Morning sickness has no bearing on the health of your baby. A person with morning sickness has just as much of a chance of miscarriage as a person without morning sickness.
If you do not have any morning sickness, it does not mean your pregnancy is at a higher risk of miscarriage. My close friend experienced no nausea at all, and had a perfectly healthy baby.
