Question from Katie P

My cousin told me she thought this was true. All I had heard was that it’s easier to get pregnant, nothing about twins.

  • I think your chances for twins and just a plain pregnancy are the same as any other month. But it might be easier because some people want to try right away to get preg again so that might increase the chances? I told my doctor i wanted to wait to try again, he told me just to wait until after i started my period to start my pills but nothing about increase pregnancy chances.

  • I’ve never heard that but I can tell you that it’s 100% not true. You should never try to get pregnant immediately after a D&C. You’re supposed to wait at least 2 menstual cycles before trying to concieve again. Your body needs time to heal. Trying to concieve quickly after a D&C doesn’t guarrentee anything, and it’s not a good idea to try.
