I am 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and have been continuing with sex with my husband as normal. I noticed some EXTREMELY light pink on the toilet paper after I wiped after peeing. This happened maybe 3 times over the course of a day, and not every time I peed.

Did this happen to you? Is this somethign I should call my doctor over, or is it normal?
The pink doesn’t go into the toilet and is so light it’s almost not noticable on the toilet paper, but it is definitely there.

Yes. It is just caused by the irritation of your cervix which is a little more swollen than when you are not pregnant. So you should be just fine but I would call my doctor just to be on the safe side.
You might want to ask your ob..I did not have that when I was 6wks pregnant…Of coarse I was sick as a dog so sex was not even on my mind at 6wks..I am still sick at 5.5mths pregnant..
I am more than sure you are fine. The same thing happened to me when I was about 12 wks pregnant and still having sex with my husband. If it worries you than of course ask your doctor, but I am more than sure you will be fine! Congrats and Good Luck!
I used to bleed after sex during my pregnancy.. later came to know I have incompetent cervix and mine was a high risk pregnancy..
during check up mention this to your Doc.. if the Doc it is ok to hv sex then only go ahead with it till then NO SEX..
YES it happened to me when I was 6 weeks as well, right after sex. Your cervix is very soft and engorged when you’re pregnant, and sex irritates it and causes light pink blood. as long as it’s just after sex and isn’t heavy, it’s totally normal and just from the sex!! Your cervix is forming a mucus plug that keeps anything from coming out or going in (to protect your baby), so that blood is just from your cervix. don’t worry!

it’s just where your cervix is a little irritated, but it is absolutely nothing to worry about.
I have experienced that actually and I asked my doctor and he said exactly what I have told you.
And he said that there is no reason to stop having sex, because like I said it’s normal.
