Question from whoever this is
I’m having a hard time getting myself to start back up with my massage therapy client again because my horrible morning sickness. Once in a great while I feel ok, but it’s not predictable. My husband doesn’t expect me to have a job, but I just feel a little guilty since I’m not like really far along in my pregnancy. But I am always sick to my stomch and am having a hard time eating much.

A lot of women take off some time in the beginning of their pregnancies due to morning sickness – then again near the end. To me that’s normal. I still went to work, but I never had morning sickness, just extreme fatigue and I took a few days off here and there.
If he is not expecting you to work then enjoy this time you have to be at home.
It’s up to you whether or not you work. Personally, I managed to work 12 hours night shifts while pregnant with twins and felt so crappy I lost 15 pounds in the first 4 months. This time around I haven’t felt quite as bad but morning sickness that lasted most of the day. While I don’t ahve a “regular job” I”m a stay at home mom with 3 year old twins. Days off don’t exist for me.
Maybe if you have a job where you can be flexible you can just schedule your clients a little later in the day than normal- or at the very least lighten your load considerably. If you have set hours, maybe you could just go part-time? Good luck!
