Yes. It can happen. I lost 20 lbs before my last daughter was born, after she came, I lost 45 more pounds in 4 days in the hospital. I have gained lord knows how much this final pregnancy, and I have a feeling I will lose some in the hospital again. But for me, I am very active in the community, have 2 dogs to take care of, which I take up and down the stairs every 2 hours. ( I have lost a little bit, something like 7 lbs taking the dogs up and down from the second floor).

it's possible...but if she is normally a size ten and it was overweight for her, and she should have been smaller, maybe she is at a healthier size..but it almost sounds like she would look sickly or something...from that vast of a size difference..our bodies are amazing things..if she wasn't active before, she will be active with a child, and maybe that is what was needed..but i don't know the whole situation...if u notice her not eating, or going to the bathroom right after eating each time, there could be some sort of disorder there...but i can't know from just assumption..

Yes... she probably didnt eat much either. Typically when that happens the person doesn't eat. And who wants to admit that they starve themselves? I believe its a combination of calorie restriction (severe) and being more active ( running around with the new baby)
