Question from eringobraugh2977
For the past week or 2 I have had pain in the left side of my uterus, sometimes sharp, other times a dull intermittent ache…the pain is very different from period cramps however and is very noticeable the past few days. At first I thought I might have a cyst, but I have also been having a brown spotting for the past week or so. I am concerned that these could be implantation symptoms, especially as I have been very fatigued and have headaches out of nowhere and just don’t feel right. I have had breakthrough bleeding before but this spotting and pain is different. Does this sound like pregnancy to you guys or something else?? I don’t know if I should take a test or just go to my doctor.

It could be anything. It would be best to see a doc if it’s not a “normal” things happening. Just to be safe i would go!!!
it could be anything go get check out you never know what it could be good luck
Really…you have uterine pain?! Sounds like you need to go to Wal-Mart and pick up a HPT. My crystal ball is foggy…I can’t predict your future now or tell whether you’re pregnant or not.
There is no way to tell you even an educated guess with the small amount of information you shared. Are you using any contraception? Have you missed a period?
The symptoms you describe could be almost anything. However, if I knew that you are or probably are pregnant then I would suspect one of two things:
Implantation bleeding (except there is usually no pain with implantation bleeding)
Or an ectopic pregnancy. This is when the embryo implants somewhere other than the uterus, usually one of the fallopian tubes – in your case, the one on the left.
An ectopic pregnancy can be very serious, even life-threatening, since as the embryo grows is will stretch the tube and eventually cause it to rupture, which can cause a hemorrhage. Caught early, it can be dealt with non-surgically and safely. On the slim chance you are pregnant and this is the problem I would advise you to get this checked out by a physician right away. I would bypass the home pregnancy test since a false negative is not unusual with an ectopic pregnancy. If it is not an ectopic pregnancy I’m sure the MD could figure out if it is cysts, an infection, or another cause for your pain and spotting.
Good luck,
