About 3 months ago my gf and i had sex, we were very careful and the condom didnt break but my gf has been worried ever since because she heard about a woman who had periods all the way through her pregnancy therefore not realising she was pregnant. She took a test and it came back negative but after a while a faint positive line appeared. This was after the time that the test was valid but she took another 1 just to be sure. When she took this 1 it came back negative again but we noticed two tiny dots had appeared where there shouldn’t be any at all. They were in the corner just above the negative line and we are unsure whether they appeared before or after the 10 mins was up. Could she be pregnant? She doesn’t want to take another test because all of the worrying is only making her periods late any way. She has had 2 normal periods and the last 1 was later than usual. Is there any chance she could be pregnant?

No, as long as you are sure the condom did not break then it is impossible for her to be pregnant, not only does the condom withhold the sperm it also contains spermicide to help kill off the sperm so they don’t get the woman pregnant.
The faint line and dots your speaking of do not sound like they were where the Pos should have showed.
All is well, just wait until she gets her normal cycle, however if she does not get it then she should seek medical attention to be sure all is well.
She is more than likely not pregnant. If you wait too long to look at the test sometimes you can see faint lines. They are only good for 10 minutes. I am sure she is fine. If she is worried she could have a blood test at the Dr but if she isn’t get a positive now she is more than likely not pregnant.
They say not to read a negative result after the allotted time because it might look positive or something. Yea you can still get what seems like your period and yea you can get negative results and still be pregnant. It is highly unlikely to have that and have used a condom though. Period vary with every woman and can be early or late or weird sometimes, that’s normal. Are her periods the same. Like the color, lighter or heavier, the smell etc. I’ve heard if your pregnant the period will have no odor really, not like usual. Has she had pinkish brown spotting? because that could mean pregnancy or implantation spotting. Does she have other symptoms of pregnancy? it sounds like she is just worrying too much. Go to doctor to be sure.
