I had my 2nd baby 8 months ago. I gained about 35 lbs. I have 6 lbs to get off of pregnancy weight and would like to lose about 10lbs. I am 138 right now. I have just joined a gym. What is the most effective way to work out to lose weight. I love the treadmill and eliptical. I try and do the fat burner programs on the machine but I do not feel like I am getting a good work out…I hardly even sweat. What is the best work out to lose weight? How long should I work out a day? How many times per week?

I injured my knee in highschool so running doesn’t work for me, I lost 20 pounds (160 to 140 and I’m 5’7) just fast paced walking 5 miles a day, a little time consuming, but easy on the body, and enjoyable, also you don’t have to do it all at once, just get outside and take walks with your babies, it’s better now with the warm weather coming, at the gym I like to do the eliptical and also lift weights for my arms and butt
you should go three times a week and do cardio for an hour, eat healthy and don’t give in. stick to it. you may take a wee while to loose weight as muscle weighs more than fat, butit looks hell of a lot better.
work out 3 to 5 times a week for 1 to 2 hours also change your diet. exercise alone does cant help with your weight
I was living proof that water does wonders. After my second child I was a size 13 and I finally wanted to lose the weight….I started drinking water and incorporating slimfast for awhile. I also did cardio and did some weight training. You need to build muslce to burn more fat in addition to doing cardio. But please try drinking water – I used bottled water to keep track of how much I could drink. The more I drank water and lost weight the more I wanted to drink water. I was smaller than before I had my first child. Water melts away the cellulite….to nothing..
