Question from betty

I have been feeling abnormally tired, dizzy, and confused. I have been hungrier than usual. I feel nauseous about half of the day. I have to pee more than usual, and go #2 more than usual. I sometimes feel light cramping in my lower abdomen. Is this a result of stopping the birth control, or could I be pregnant? (We are starting to “try” to get pregnant for the first time!) I bought a pregnancy test, but it says that you have to wait closer to the time of your missed period to take it for accurate results. I have been feeling this way for about a week.

  • Could be or it could be just a result of ending your birth control pills and your body trying to get back to ‘normal” before the pills. I would wait until after you have amissed period and then take a test. Good luck!!

  • although possible, it’s not likely. it could just be from stopping the pill & having your hormones outta whack.

  • If you haven’t missed your period it’s not likely to feel pregnancy symptoms.. You ovulate 14 days after you have ur period which is when your body is more likely to concieve.. So you would still be in the conceiving process.. Sounds like the hormones of the pill got the best of you… Take a test if you miss your period though.. Good Luck..

  • maybe, just wait and see. Congratulations if you are!

  • You maybe pregnant because missing one pill can cause you to get pregnant so you stopped it three weeks ago so I really hope you are but if you are not enjoy the act of getting pregnant.

  • could be , good luck!

  • Most woman dont get signs of pregnancy until 3 months, not 3 weeks along. I believe it is stopping the pill. But you can test if you want.

  • I dropped the pill and was pregnant we estimated in about 3 weeks…definitely possible….good luck

  • Well I hope you know that you can become pregnant as soon as you stop birth control. Those seem like pregnancy symptons to me to the T.

You feel like your period is coming right? And your boobs hurt like heck? I felt the same way for a while. Tired, dizzy, HUNGRY, and going to the b.r. constantly. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me b/c test after test showed (-). I even still got my period.

So I figured, why drive myself crazy right? A few weeks later my sister told me to get a test from the DOLLAR STORE and it said (+)!

Your probably coming up negative b/c u don’t have enough of that certain “hormone” to detect it. Wait a while, even if you still get your period!! And you don’t have to necessarily get an expensive test. They all work the same way no matter how much it costs.
