No, it’s not a good idea to use tanning booths while pregnant. If you want to maintain a tan, then get the spray tan (which is completely safe) or buy a self-tanner/bronzer.
what happens to a chicken when you bake it in the oven?
No it isn’t safe to tan while pregnant
I don’t think it’s right to die from melanoma and leave your child motherless.
Not safe. At all. The heat and light will interfear with their neural development. Selfish orange lady.
NO NO NO no tanning beds raises your body temp to unsafe levels for the baby!
NO TANNING ITS BAD!
It’s a definate no-no.
My OB said it was perfectly fine as long as I didn’t get too hot. The sun can only penetrate the first couple of layers of skin so the baby isn’t affected at all. Your salon may require something from your doctor though. Mine didn’t, but the owner is pregnant and tanning as well with the OK of her OB. Always ask for the coolest bed, make sure the fan is on full blast, use lotion, and if you get hot just hop out. I only tan for 14 minutes, 2 times a week, just enough to keep some color.
I have actually spoken to some girls that said that it helped with stretch marks!!!
Tanning in a tanning booth is not even healthy when you’re not pregnant. It can cause skin cancer. If you still want to look dark then try doing a spray tan or using a tinted lotion.
Not safe. Eventhough the people in the tanning places tell you it’s safe, why risk it?
No- and I doubt the tanning bed place will even allow it. In my state, the employees have to go through training and pregnant ladies are not allowed to tan.
Why risk it? Just wait until you have that beautiful child and then hit the tanning bed! that is my plan! i don’t even want to risk hurting my baby.
A lot of tanning beds have the cool lights now so that you won’t get to hot. Okay it with your doctor, but I think you will be fine. My sister did it. Just don’t over do it!! A lot of people just think it is bad because they have heard that it is!!
NO DEFINATELY NOT! u will kill the baby if u do this..
