  • Sushi. I was so sad when I had to 9 months without eating it lol.
Also you have to limit your fish intake, as mercury levels could be high.
Other than that, I ate just about everything else.

  • There isnt much they tell u to stay away from.Good to eat a variety because your baby gets that too. I wouldnt eat salt water fish of any kind because of the mercury levels.Fresh water fish is ok, but in moderation.Sea food all together isnt highly recommended, but wont do serious damage unless you eat a ton of it. There is a bacteria called listeria that processed foods like ht dogs or lunch meat can carry. That is also something to stay away from. Caffaine isnt great, but as long as you dont consume more then 4 8oz glasses a day, u are usually fine. There is no proven fact that caffaine can harm an unborn baby, but just as it isnt good for you, it isnt good for them.whatever u eat, ur baby eats too

  • Deli cold cuts: they can contain listeria. Heat to steaming if you’d still like it. This includes hotdogs.

Fish with high levels of mercury: these can include: shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish. Canned, chunk light tuna generally has a lower amount of mercury than other tuna, but still should only be eaten in moderation. Certain types of fish used in sushi should also be avoided due to high levels of mercury.

Raw shellfish: can be contaminated if not cooked thoroughly

    Raw eggs: salmonella

Imported soft cheeses: they can also contain listeria. Examples are brie, feta, gorgonzola…anything unpasteurized.

    Limited caffiene
    No alcohol
