Question from zhena

I’m having a problem determining if I’m pregnant or just having one of those premenstrual syndromes. My last period was on July 2 and I had contact on July 16.. my usual menstrual gaps are either 28 or 31 days.. I’m having these signs like fatigue, nausea, constipation, frequent urinating, nipple pain, back pains and cramps. could it be that I’m pregnant? Is it time for me to buy the pregnancy test kit or would it be too early? please help!

  • they are usually the same signs but pregnancy signs may or may not show up right away. you can take a home test at about 5 days prior to when you expect your calculate your period to start

  • Ivy:

its either pregnancy or severe Endomitriosis. its late enough now that you can take a test,i suggest ClearBlue easy digital pregnancy test.if your negative then go to the gyno asap and ask to be checked for Endomitriosis.

  • The most frustrating thing about pregnancy symptoms is that oftentimes they mimic PMS symptoms. That is why I usually tell women not to use symptoms to determine a pregnancy. Your best bet is to take a pregnancy test. I do not think it would be too early since it’s been a little over 4 weeks since you had your last period. To be on the safe side, take it tomorrow morning with first morning urine. Good luck!! ?

  • I would wait for another week or two to take a test, even though it may be nerve-racking. The early signs of pregnancy are super similar to pre-period stuff.

  • those are signs of both, but with the nausea, and frequent urination i am leaning more toward PREGNANCY! YOu could take a test now and it should be accurate! Test and let us know the results! Good luck

  • I’ve heard that when you are pregnant you get a lot of soreness/tenderness on the sides of your boobs. But just to get the worry out of the way I’d take a pregnancy test. Good luck
