I actually lost 15 pounds in the beginning because of feeling sick, but starting at around 6 months I ended up gaining 70 pounds, I really regret it now though, it is hard to lose the weight, I have had to sweat it out in the gym like crazy!!
It is possible to lose in the beginning..morning sickness etc.
talk to your Dr. and let him/her know whats going on..
after the 4th month(i think the baby starts to really grow so you should see some extra weight then..just eat 3-5 decnts meals a day..take you vitamins and sleep..
I am 26 weeks and have lost 8 lbs. My belly is nice and round like a basketball, but no weight gain and I am normal weight as well. Everyone keeps telling me that I will start gaining soon. My baby is healthy and is right on track with size so my dr. is not concerned about me not gaining.
I was pregnant with twins and i didnt start gaining weight until I was about 14 weeks and they it started coming.

I didn’t gain till I was 6 months. I actually lost weight. And I was underweight when I first got pregnant (105), then quickly got to 120 in the first month, from emotional eating…. Then lost it and stayed at 110 till I hit about 5 months… then I gradually put on weight for that month, then just KABLAAM started getting HUGE. I weighed 150 when I went to deliver.
Well, you’re out of your first trimester now, so you should start gaining weight any day now! But keep it slow and steady, you only want to gain about 1 pound a week in the second trimester! It’s pretty normal to lose during the first trimester, due to morning sickness and the fact that your baby really isn’t that big. I’m 11 weeks and I’ve lost a couple pounds in the last couple weeks because I’ve been eating much healthier since I got pregnant…no more McDonald’s or pizza and more baked chicken and fruit. I gained some weight over the holidays, before I knew I was pregnant, but I haven’t gained any legitimate baby weight…actually lost about 3 pounds.
