you should feel some little flutters, like butterflies in your stomach, but everyone is different.
I think its the same as a single pregnancy, from 16-20 weeks. At first its very hard to tell…i just thought i had gas but over about 1 weeks it became very obvious. I thought it felt like ‘snakes’ in my stomach…yes…freaky lol.
Most pregnant women don’t feel fetal movement until about 18 to 22 weeks. It is arguable that you would feel movement earlier than this if you are pregnant with twins. Although many women expecting twins claim to, there are a few factors to consider here. If this is a first pregnancy it may be difficult to determine if what you are feeling is indeed fetal movement. Also, your twins may not be particularly active. If this is a subsequent pregnancy you might be able to better recognize fetal movement. I have a friend who (in first pregnancy) did not feel her twin babies move at all until the 23rd week! She said, “I can’t believe that during the ultrasound my babies are clearly moving, turning, and kicking so much, yet I can’t feel a thing!” Personally, I felt my twins move at around 19 weeks, which was around the same time I felt my singleton (previous pregnancy) move. Don’t worry, you’re getting close!
Hope this helps…..Congratulations and best of luck!
