I beg to differ. I had full-on periods during my first pregnancy until I was FIVE MONTHS ALONG.

You don’t. That’s why it’s such a common misconception. Some women get what seems to be a period every month during pregnancy.
If you are pregnant–it is vaginal bleeding and not a period. But in some cases, you just don’t know.
