Question from Jane D

I have missed my period, and as of the first day of my last period, according to a pregnancy calculator, I would be 5 weeks pregnant. I am reluctant on taking a test because i hate to spend money, but I’d like to hear some opinions on this.. With my first baby i had typical pre menstrual symptoms like tender breasts, cramps, fatigue. This time I missed my period at what would have been week 3 i was exhausted barely getting out of bed to go to work, feeling light headed and dizzy, and that would be week 3-4. This week would be week 5, i feel light headed at times, little pulling sensations in my uterus, I think. and gas, when i’m at work i feel as though it’s gas bubbles but i can tell the two most of the time.. I focus on when i feel it in my uterus trying to memorize the feeling in case i feel gas and try to decipher the difference between the two. I’m afraid that i would turn out not to be pregnant when i want to be, so i am reluctant to take a test now. I would hate to see a negative result, but i don’t want to wait either. I feel if i wait maybe another week i would get my period, and would have waisted nearly 15-20 dollars on a test.. . what do you all think??
