I took an at home pregnancy test because I didn’t get my period and it is possible I could be pregnant. It came out positive! Im so nervous! I can’t believe this, can someone please tell me how accurate these are?

I took 3 home pregnancy tests a few weeks ago, all positive, and had a blood test done last week. I’m now 7 weeks preganant and having some bleeding. It’s old blood, nothing bright or anything like that. It’s around the time when I would have gotten my period, but it’s really light. Am I having a miscarriage?
Bleeding started last night in the early evening. I’ve gone through 1 pad since then. My period would have been due this previous Saturday. I’m going for an ultrasound this afternoon. My mom’s an ob/gyn and seems to think it’s ok, just early pregnancy bleeding.
