I wanted to just know if dollar store pregnancy tests are accurate 2 weeks after missed period.

I am waiting a bit to test because people are always saying hormone might not show up, so why waste a test if it won’t?

With this, I realized I don’t really need a 5 days before period test, or maybe even a $5 test since I am 2 weeks late.

Do you think a dollar store test would work for me easily? Or would it take a while to detect?

I am horrible, just horrible about having a pregnancy test in the drawer and using it when I don’t really need to. We aren’t even trying but I keep tests in the drawer just in case (I have 14 month old and am on the mini pill while breastfeeding…I don’t trust the mini pill.) But I was just wondering how many other women out there can’t help themselves when they see the pregnancy test staring at them.

Hubby and I just started trying, so I’m wondering what kind of pregnancy tests I should be buying in the near future. I’ve heard about the dollar store ones, but am VERY skeptical about leaving something that important to an expired, dusty dollar store test.
I took first response once before (wasn’t pregnant) and still have one of those left in the box…are they really better than other brands? Any suggestions?

I was at the doctor today and she had me take pregnancy test before a procedure. She told me I was fine, but later said they had to use three pregnancy tests on me, because they showed positive than faded to negative. She had me do a blood test to make sure, haven’t gotten the results yet. Anyone have any ideas or have had this happened to them?

I took two pregnancy tests on 3/2/09 and it stated that I was pregnant. My husband ejaculated in me on Febuary 15, 2009.My last menstrual was on January 18, 2009. The EPT pregnancy test, or as the manufacturer likes to call it, ‘The Error Proof Test’, is quite possibly the most popular of the pregnancy tests on the market today. I have had positive results show in as little as fifteen seconds, and negative results show in about a minute.

The only drawback that I have noticed in the EPT pregnancy test, is that there is no cover for the tip. Be sure that when you use your EPT pregnancy test, you put the stick on a few sheets of tissue, or on a paper towel, to prevent a really nasty mess to clean up. Uggh! I don’t know anyone that likes to clean up a puddle of urine, no matter how small! Other than that, I have never had any problems with the EPT pregnancy test, and will continue to use them every time I need to know.

At times like this, when you really need to know whether or not you are pregnant, the EPT pregnancy test is by far the top of the line. With an easy to read result window, short testing time, and an accuracy rate of ninety-nine percent, you can’t go wrong with the EPT pregnancy test!
