so i just found out that i am pregnant so that will make me 4 1/2 weeks but my right side started to hurt not all the time just on and off some times it will move to the left side but very rare mostly it stays on the right side. Its like a sharp pain that comes and goes its been going on for 2 days now i thinking im might just be gas what do you think? has any body ever had this problem?

For the past couple of days I have been having sharp pain in my lower abdomen on the side close to the groin. I am 16 weeks pregnant and I called my midwife today and she said that it was strained groin something. Well its to late to call now and I was wondering why would I get the pain while sitting or laying down. It also hurts when I empty my bladder sometimes.

The pain is sharp and only last a couple seconds.
