Viable Pregnancy? Spotting at 5 weeks?

I went for an ultrasound today to check things out because of some spotting. The ultrasound tech said the sac was the size it should be but was shaped odd. She couldnt see the baby. They are checking my hcg levels. They took blood today and the count was normal for 5 weeks. They are taking blood again next week. Should I be worried? Am I having a miscarriage?
