Question from Mommy to Stephanie and Scott

I’m currently 11 weeks pregnant with my first and I still don’t have a bump yet although I recently saw a doctor and I saw the ultrasound of my baby and I asked when does the bump start to show and he said that I might show it soon? How many weeks of pregnancy does your stomach start to show a bump?

Question from monica22033

According to online pregnancy calculators, I am 6 weeks pregnant and am due Jun 30th. My question is, is since it is calculated from the first day of my last period, wouldn’t that make me only 4 weeks pregnant? I want to know this because, I want to know if the baby counts as the “6th”week of Development or the 4th? according to some websites at 6 weeks there are dark spots on the head for where the eyes, ears and nose will develop? is that at the 6th week of pregnancy or at the 6th week the embryo has actually been alive?

Thanks
